Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by PaintedDoor to explain what data the app collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. It covers the PaintedDoor web app and the experiments you run through it.

Information we collect

  • Account data: email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile basics.
  • Experiment data: the idea, copy, target audience, and configuration you submit.
  • Results data: aggregated metrics about visits, ad performance, and conversions for your experiment.
  • Payment data: handled by our payment processor; PaintedDoor stores only the references needed to reconcile your order.

How we use it

To run your experiment, generate your report, operate and improve the app, and communicate with you about your account and experiments. We don't sell your personal data.

Subprocessors

PaintedDoor uses third-party providers to run the platform — including hosting, authentication, database, ad networks for paid traffic, domain registration, and a payment processor. Each provider only receives the data needed to perform its role.

Public experiments

Experiments default to public after 7 days so the Graveyard can teach the next founder. You can opt out of public visibility from your dashboard before that window closes.

Retention and deletion

We keep your account and experiment data while your account is active. Contact us to request deletion of your account and associated private experiments.

Cookies

PaintedDoor uses cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences. Experiment landing pages may set additional cookies needed for ads and analytics.

Your choices

You can update your email, opt experiments out of public visibility, and request deletion at any time. For privacy questions, reach out via the support channel inside the app.
